Year End Accounts
We can produce annual accounts for all forms of businesses (including property rentals) from a variety of source documents. We recommend that clients maintain regular accounting records (preferably computerised) which assist in the timely production of annual accounts, but we regularly work from original documents. (The more work done by the client, the lower the fees payable!) These accounts are primarily used to support tax returns, but are available to support personal and business applications for finance or credit.
Limited Company Accounts
Accounts are prepared under the Companies Act 2006 to meet statutory obligations. These accounts are fully compliant with Financial reporting standards and can be filed at Companies House in either full or abbreviated form, usually online.
Management Accounts
Periodic management accounts can be produced at mutually agreed intervals to enable management to appreciate the progress of the business and identify areas requiring attention in a timeous fashion. The service not only comprises the production of management accounts but also their interpretation and the recommendation of courses of action.
Special Accounts
Accounts can be produced for a variety of non-statutory purposes, e.g. insurance/grant claims, acquisitions, disposals etc.
Book-keeping
A full range of book-keeping services is offered designed to suit each client's particular requirements. Use of these services will lead to reduced fees for the subsequent preparation of accounts - periodic or annual, manual or computer based. These services can include, but are not limited to :
- Weekly, monthly, annual or custom visits/updates
- Partial or complete maintenance of accounting records at your location or our office
- Use of manual or computerised systems
- Preparation of accounts (for management, statutory, taxation or third party purposes) for sole traders, partnerships, limited companies, clubs and other organisations

Payroll
For the smaller business without its own accounting department, payroll processing can be time consuming and a distraction from the primary function of running a business. We provide a fully computerised bureau service providing :
- Preparation of payrolls on weekly, 4 weekly, monthly or other bases
- Preparation of payslips and other necessary documentation, including contracts of employment and employment policies where required
- A reminder service for important filing, payment and other dates
- Completion of all year end forms, including (but not limited to) forms P9D, P11D, P14, P35, P45, P46, P60, all undertaken online
- Submission of the necessary information to meet the requirements of HMRC's new RTI system
- Advice on auto enrolment and the operation of the new employee pension scheme when necessary
We ensure that the client's legal obligations to its employees are fully met and automatically ensure that payments such as Statutory Sick Pay and Statutory Maternity/Paternity/Adoption Pay are correctly calculated and paid and recovered from H M Revenue & Customs. This service is provided using third party software that ensures that all data is up to date at all times.
